ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! All of the USB-A ports stopped working!! Supports was TERRIBLE because I didn't buy directly from Ivansky...Which should have been my first red flag!!! I'll be sticking with Caldigit from now on! At least they stand behind their products!!!! The stupid thing won't even update it's firmware!!!!

Don’t just buy ink, buy new printer each time with sample ink, make those greedy companies go bankrupt. Thieves. Ink cartages are not full of ink, they put ink moist sponge inside. Then they add microchip so that you can’t fill in ink on your own. This is not environment friendly this is disaster. 🤔👎

All these scam techniques (ie. consumables, spare parts sold for 100x of their actuals costs, using the trap of being lured into an investment that seems cheap at first) should have been banned by law long ago. If it is ok, then what is the problem with a Pyramid or Ponzi scheme, a chain letter scam, a boiler-room scam, etc. ?

Funny how people do not realize, and happily pay $16-22 for 3ml of some liquid that costs way more per ml than a super-expensive $5000 bottle of wine thay would never think they could afford.

Any thoughts on EPSON EcoTank ? for me it seems to be a step at last in the right direction I would be interested in your follow-up: What made EPSON to do this? are the competitors following? what is the overall impact of it on this full-of-scam business sector?

i buy only epson printer and not the ecotank version but the standard , epson was one of the least printer producer who can make the printer work with not genuine cartridge and i can found a lot of cheaper version of not genuine XL who works like charm but the idea of the EcoTank was pretty much phenomenal !

CCD is global shutter. My old Panasonic LX5 could do this. Vs CMOS is rolling shutter.

I'm using an Epson EcoTank for my business for over a year now. We're literally printing a small book every day and i had to buy 3 sets of ink bottles for the whole time. Needless to say that the print quality is still as good as on day one. The integrated web server that you use to set up the thing isn't as well thought out as , say HP's, but i gets the job done. I don't see me buy a HP or Canon printer in the future. That's how good the Epson is.

Also OLEDs have a higher risk of burn-in, so you should not use it as monitor, as there are static elements that remain on screen for long periods. I've tried this route, the best option is to go for a 32 inch IPS monitor or two of them side by side.

Canon printers suck

I watched both of these reviews and then bought a MoveMic system anyhow, because I had trouble believing that Shure would put out as bad of a product as it sounds here. I'm a former audio engineer and something just seems off with gain staging or something on these tests. Plugged into a C70 at line level (with the c70 also set at line level) I'm finding the recording levels are a bit low, but they sound nothing like what I'm hearing here. It's crisp with a low noise floor, I can bring the audio levels up in post nicely and the speech preset brings a nice finished touch to interview audio. For comparison I'm usually using a Tentacle Sync and a Sanken Cos11d mic, so I know what decent lav audio sounds like. I've also used the new Rode wireless pro, and I think they sound pretty good, but shure seems to have a bit more headroom on peaks, better wireless processing overall, and the receiver and menu controls are much more intuitive. Also I can't emphasis how much nicer it looks with these little clips vs the square. For people who are watching this. I'm not saying Lee is lying, but this is simply not the experience I'm having with these mics. It's hard to believe that there isn't some flaw in the process. I'll gladly use these in most scenarios where I can monitor audio, especially for quick interview types of gigs. They've been rock solid, and very easy to work with. If that changes I'll update this comment.

$ 6.000 is a lot of money for a camera, by any standard. But a while ago, someone would spend a large sum on, for instance, a Nikon F3 and use it for 10 years. Now you buy a $ 6.000 camera and you're lucky if you get $ 1.000 fo it in 2 years.

I've had the Epson eco print for about 3 years now and still haven't gone through original ink and it's working great... Love it.

You can buy Continuous Ink Systems for many printers now. Essentially you have externa;l tanks, feeding into a catridge that has a chip that fools the printer into believing that it is a legitimate make. Buying bulk ink bottles and refilling the tanks is a much cheaper way to do it. I just hate the way these companies have ripped me off with cheap printers, but you have to pay an extorionate amount for the inks. I bought a printer scanner, not realising that if the ink cartidges run out of ink, the printer will disable your scanner. That is crooked and should be criminal.

Great job. I have been hip to the shear rip off of printer carts since the 1990s. Back then the best choice was a laser jet by HP. Huge plastic cartridge. I. Bought an Epson 4850, costing around 500.00. I started work where I often have to print out 2,000 pages a day. The Epson has been the best printer I have ever worked with. I am 52 and my first printer was a dot matrix. Epson is awesome!

Fstoppers hide the elephant in the room. The print heads on the cartridges usually become unusable after 3-5 refills and a new, expensive cartridge is again required. Print heads are made to break on purpose, they are not permanent.
